4-Way Solenoid Valves
These valves have four or five pipe connections, commonly called ports. One pressure inlet, two cylinder ports providing pressure to the double acting cylinder or actuator and one or two outlets to exhaust pressure from the cylinders. They have three types of construction, single solenoid, dual solenoid or single air operator.

General Service – Air/Inert Gas, Water, Lt. Oil (up to 300 SSU) service at moderate temperatures.
* 8340 Series		4/2 -Air/Inert Gas, Water, Lt. Oil 1/4″ Valves available in in-line, sub-base mount, and manifold mount constructions. Available in either AC or DC operated with aluminum bodies. Operating pressures 0-150 psi.

* 8342 Series		4/2 Direct Acting High Flow - 1/4″-3/8″ Direct acting valves available in single or double solenoids with brass or stainless steel bodies. Available in AC voltages only. Ideal for applications that demand high flows and no minimum pressure differential. Operating pressures to 125 psi.

* 8344 Series		4/2 - Air/Inert Gas, Water, Lt. Oil – 1/4″– 1″ Solenoid pilot operated piston/poppet valves with Brass bodies for a wide variety of applications. Single and double solenoid constructions available. Available in either AC or DC voltage. Operating pressures of 10-250 psi.

* 8345 Series		4/2 - Compact, Air/inert Gas, Water,Lt Oil – 1/4″ Solenoid pilot operated valves available AC or DC operated with brass or 316 stainless steel bodies. Operating pressures of 10-150 psi.

* 8401/8402 Series		5/2 –Air/Inert Gases– 1/8″-1/4″ Solenoid pilot operated valves available in sub-base mount and manifold mount constructions. Available either single or double solenoid, AC or DC operated with aluminum bodies. Optional integrated flow controls. Air/Inert gas service only. Operating pressures to 150 psi.

* 8551 Series		5/2 – High flow for air/inert gas – 1/4″ Internally piloted solenoid valve with spool construction. Single or double solenoid, AC or DC with aluminum or 316 stainless steel body. Pressure ratings of 35-150 psi.
Air Operated – Uses auxiliary compressed air or water pressure to shift valve, rather than a solenoid operator. ASCO offers a choice of 3 pneumatic operator pressure ratings.
* F444/ P444 Series	4/2 -Air/Inert Gas, Water, Lt. Oil – 1/4″ - 3/8″ Air operated 2 position valves available with brass bodies and. Operating pressures for the main valve are 10-125 psi.
Intrinsically Safe – Solenoid valves designed solely for use in intrinsically safe and Non-Incendive Field Wiring areas. Designed for properly sized and approved areas with current and voltage limiting barriers.
* JIS 8344 Series		4/2 – Air inert gas – 3/8″-1″ Solenoid operated piston/poppet valves available DC operated with Brass bodies for a wide variety of applications. Single and double solenoid constructions available. Operating pressures 10-150 psi

* JIS 8316 Series		5/2-Air inert Gas-1/4″ Solenoid operated, spool valve available with anodized aluminum or 316 stainless steel body. Pressures 35-150 psi.

* JIS 8551 Series		5/2-Air inert Gas-1/4″ Solenoid operated, spool valve available with anodized aluminum or 316 stainless steel body. Pressures 35-150 psi.

* 8455 Series		Pilot Operated Poppet Valves– 1/4″ .05 Watt solenoid valves available in brass and 316L stainless steel.
Low Power – Low wattage coil to provide PLC compatibility, reduced battery drain, reduced wiring cost, reduced heat rise and, energy savings.
* 8344 Series		4/2 - Piston Valve – 3/8″-1/2″ Solenoid pilot operated piston/poppet valves available either DC operated with Brass bodies for a wide variety of applications. Single and double solenoid constructions available.

* 8455 Series		Pilot Operated Poppet Valves– 1/4″ .05 Watt solenoid valves available in brass and 316L stainless steel.
Long Life / Dry Air – Designed for quiet operation and long cycle life, up to 20 million cycles, for dry air or gas applications.
* 8344 Series with Q suffix		4/2 - 5 million cycle capability – 1/4″–1/2″ Solenoid pilot operated valves available AC operated with brass bodies.

* 8345 Series with Q suffix		4/2 - 20 million cycle capability – 1/4″ Solenoid pilot operated valves available AC operated with brass bodies.
