Patternless Molding—The Future of Short Run Jobs

Speed. Short runs, prototypes, and new product development demands it. To support those efforts for key customers, MetalTek’s Carondelet Division has invested in state-of-the-art equipment to directly produce a sand cast mold without first building a pattern. This “Patternless Mold” offers the capability to produce static cast parts using full production casting processes without the time to design, develop, and tweak patterns. Send us the 3-D ProE, IGES, or STP files that model your part (or we can do that for you), and we will directly create the mold required to make that part. Our expertise in gating, rigging, and solid modeling will produce the part the same as if it were made with a hard tool. Changes are easy; no tools need to be modified. We will then cast the part in the production setting. You know what you are getting, and you are getting it fast.
