These pipes are not suitable for hardening operations; also it can be applied to limited heating applications such as case hardening. When it is heat treated, the temperature includes soaking, heating, cooling as will vary due to factors as the shape and size of each component. Stainless steel pipes are combined with excellent elevated temperature properties having great ductility and wearability. Typically, these pipes are used for high temperature applications. The basic properties of alloy offer a solid solution for corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and superior strength to elevated temperatures.

Stainless Steel Welded Pipe offer elevated strength along with higher creep deformation resistance and environmental issues. Moreover, these pipes are used for chemical processing industries. This pipe has excellent resistance to nominal temperatures and also works great in oxidizing and carburizing environments. The stainless steel pipe performs well in the fluctuating temperatures. The stainless steel pipes are widely used in sulfur dioxide gas which is found in elevated temperatures. The continuous application of SS pipes is not recommended due to carbide precipitation range. Often these pipes can be modified into any complex design. The structure of SS grade is highly weldable. Different machining operation can be performed by the annealing process.
