Alloy Information

Alloy stainless steel 304 is the austenitic stainless steel and it falls under the T-300 SS series. It is having a minimum of 18% chromium alloying element and nickel of about 0.08%. This alloy is called as nickel and chromium austenitic alloy. This grade is 18/8 standard stainless that is used in many applications including kitchenware as well. The alloy is having many good welding and forming attribute. It is corrosion and oxidation resistance because of the content of chromium appropriately. Also, it is having deep drawing quality, high hardness at cryogenic temperature, low-temperature properties, cleaning ease and fabrication ease.
