The Stainless Steel S34700 Seamless Pipes are basically an austenitic SS stabilized pipes by addition of tantalum and columbium so as to reduce or protect carbide precipitation in service at high temperature up to 800 Degree F and during welding at 1650 degree F. It can be stated as chromium nickel steel that got modified through the addition of tantalum and columbium. These SS 347 pipes along with tantalum-columbium allow withstanding at high temperature as it possesses good mechanical properties. This thus makes the pipes suitable for service in a low-temperature environment or in aqueous. It possesses good resistance toward inter-granular attacks. The SS 1.4550 Welded Pipes are developed in such a way that it has enhanced creeping resistance for greater strength at temperatures above 537 Degree C or 1000 degree F. They are designed in various dimensions, wall thickness, size-seamless pipes, schedules, form, end, length, types, and standards. The SS pipes possess sub-zero notch ductility and ambient ductility. It can be used successfully and is appropriate when high strength is needed. It exhibits a thermal expansion coefficient, high heat conductivity, and is suitable for working at 3000 degrees C temperature.
The strength can be increased abruptly and thus it can be made cold workable with high proof stress and low elongation. It is used mainly in oil and gas, chemical processing and marine environments.
