About stainless steel 310S alloy
The alloy that we are using for pipes development is stainless steel 310S and it is alloy 310 low carbon version. The reason why it is used is because of fabrication ease. The alloy is recommended for the applications that need sensitization and subsequent resistance to corrosion by the greater temperature gases. Also, this alloy has found its use in the applications in greater temperature atmosphere wherein corrosion resistance, scaling and good creeps resistance; high-temperature strength is needed.
