Alloy information
Alloy stainless steel 304L is the T-300 series austenitic SS that is having nickel and chromium of 8% and 18% respectively. Type 304L is having a carbon of 0.030. This alloy is standard 18/8 stainless that is found used in a few applications. Also, the alloy is acceptable and is extensively used alloy in SS family. It is exhibiting high fabrication ease, corrosion resistance, and excellent formability. The austenitic SS is considered to be greatly versatile of the high alloy steel and it can be welded through fusion and resistance welding process.
